Track Name: Fog Magic
The fog is cold and grey. It lingers in the air. The dew like drops of glass; I take uncertain steps.

I fear for what's to come. Will lost hope remain lost? One day, will my mouth speak? Of truth, beyond my reach.

We're all truth, in a glass vase. (are we misplaced?) We're all common light beams. We all formed in this ocean.
Track Name: Non-Violence
Send them off, with a gun. To fight, to kill, to represent the pride in the Nation. I'm a boy, and you're a man; 'cuz you can kill without a qualm, in the name of Uncle Sam. We'll win the war, 'cuz we're the best. The free, the brave, America is better than the rest(?) -Let it burst, let it break; let's tear a foreign country down for the good of our own state.

Lay down your life, you're sacrifice. Surrender or prepare to die, you'd best take my advice. I find that I'm desensitized; the distance that a trigger puts between my hand and a- Human heart. The source of life is blown to bits. (and here I stand, the culprit) The name of war has justified a tragedy (that just becomes another vague statistic)

A common heart beats in my chest, not above or below the rest. The right to be alive is a privilege of the human race. The banner of our nation flies; a symbol of our hope and pride, (our) lives in (death) are glorified; we rise above the horror.

You'll never have a quiet world until you decimate, the patriotic ideology we procreate. I have no country to fight for (my country is the earth) -my allegiance lies with the living, not my place of birth.
Track Name: Eye Color
I found a cage- inside my heart, filled with words. Locked inside, my mouth won't let them go. I'm trying to find the key, I'm trying to open up.

Get the torch. Tear it out, so you know. The deepest parts, the darkest fears of my soul.

Spent and Used, my heart is bruised, but I can't-
Let it go, tell half the truth- you need the whole.

A furnace burns- deep within. (can you feel?) You look forlorn, let me see your eye color.

Asleep in the ashes of our former home. Rise in the distance, let your light be know.
Track Name: Body Language
Is there something that I- communicated just by holding my head like this? (Did I miss all the hints)

Can you tell how I am feeling? Is my posture so revealing? Cross your arms; an unconscious barrier between our hearts.

Or are you just cold? (I thought it rather bold) -Should I stare at your eyes? Should I blink once or twice.

In our own way we depict ourselves, in codes decrypted by our- eyes and our innate perception. Social cues; our body-language.
Track Name: Sur(reality)
Another day spins, the needle reacts. A slow motion daydream where I can't relax. Peel off the layers, stripped down to the core; I know that my life (is) but can't tell what it's for. Open your eyelids to see for yourself; the ones who were dying are now in good health. Did you tip it off the axis? Did your reverse the polarity? (I can feel it). Did you start another chapter, that I still can't read 'til you've finished, and relinquished? Will you hold me by the ankles, to see how it feels to perceive with different angles? Is that you behind the curtain, is there somebody trying too fool me? I'm not certain.

Is this Sur(reality)?

Poised to believe that my life's just a dream; could you pinch my cheeks in case I'm still asleep.

Track Name: Persona
A field, filled with ashes of gold. This grime on our hands is untold. We shouldn't let a body be sold; like a product to consume to behold.

She suffocates beneath the weight. She wants to run, but it's too late. (She's tried to run, she's tried to hate); Her owner won't let her escape.

They say that ignorance is bliss, avert your eyes from this business. Their scream is muffled by our own hands, a persona billed as risqué and provocative.

You call them prostitutes and chuckle, but would you try on their shoes or their struggles? Would you walk a thousand miles in bondage? -Would you try to flee if promised carnage?

From the heart to the eyes to the soul; I was wrong, you were wrong, (we were wrong.)

From the first to the last to the middle; I was wrong, you were wrong, (we were wrong)
Track Name: Genetic
Who are you, and who am I? The sun hasn't set in my mind.

In your world, like we were; something more. Genetic.

Ghost in the light, the moon is so bright. The dawn in the dark. A new grace to start.

In our minds, we are sure. We must be genetic.

From our moms, and our dads. We were born. Genetic.
Track Name: V C R
Swim to the Island, to find my brother. He's lost, and I wish I could rewind. My VCR won't replay my memories, or my dreams; and they always seem to fade.

Put my life inside the VCR, press play while sitting on the floor. Must have written over the the tape, this VHS isn't the same. Fast-foreword to the very end, is the last bit still there? (I'll pretend) Auto-rewind kicks in as it fades, blue light flickers on my face.

Burnt on the screen, just one frame from the scene where I- Shut my eyes, I don't want see.

The truth is I'm afraid, to see my life replayed. So I taped over all of it.

Put my life inside the VCR, press play while sitting on the floor. Must have written over the the tape, this VHS isn't the same. Fast-foreword to the very end, is the last bit still there? (I'll pretend) Auto-rewind kicks in as it fades, blue light flickers on my face.
Track Name: Appaloosa
The lemons ought to know; two tendrils from the snow.
I wish I still could taste the sour juice they make.

Shapes in the distance grow. Turning. Dark. Ominous.
Outlines in chaos run, dark spots against the sun.

Appaloosa on the loose, Appaloosa on the run.
Appaloosa tell the truth, Appaloosa where've you gone?

Surrender to the earth. The object of careful birth.
Quiet your weary soul; you mustn't let yourself go.

Appaloosa on the loose, Appaloosa on the run.
Appaloosa tell the truth, Appaloosa where've you gone?

I am just an animal (a bird inside a rabbits hole)
I am just an animal (a hare inside a tortoise shell)
I am just an animal (a whale inside a fishes bowl)
I am just an animal (an ape inside a human's home)
Track Name: No Blood Trails
Death grips your ankle, but you're afraid to cry.
"You're a hopeless cause" he whispers as you die.

But you won't listen, no you won't hear.
The drip of your blood red, as it paints the earth.

Leave no blood trails, or they'll track you down.

The wind carries your scent, as the forest sighs.
Your foes are bound to find out. They want to know your lies.

The world falls silent. They've seen past your guise.

Leave no blood trails, or they'll track you down.

-I'm dying, (I'm sure you've seen.) I've tried to leave no blood trails-
But my wound has grown, too sizable for me to stop the flow.
Track Name: Habits
Worn out; everything. Can I take another day, just going through the motions? Wake up, sleep repeat. Schedule everything between.
The multitude of things I-

Keep repeating, on and on and on I shift, like clockwork; never take a breath to feel the moment slip through my hands. Always have to make the means about the end, so transfixed. I never noticed that I formed all of these habits.

Burnt out like a lamp, check the third drawer from the left. (Just in case I could replace) One thought every day (in time) become another man.
Bereft of these things I-

Keep repeating, on and on and on I shift, like clockwork; never take a breath to feel the moment slip through my hands. Always have to make the means about the end, so transfixed. I never noticed that I formed all of these habits.
Track Name: Moon Cycle
Harried soul, why can't you just let go? Carried home, under a pitch black sun. Under oath, am I the only one? Bleeding heart, the devil has got your tongue.

Rituals absorb into my skin, burrow to the core.
It's like a drug, I'm addicted to the clockwork in my veins.
A cyclical trip of emotions shock me into sleep.
Shut my eyes, under the night sky; flesh and soul convene.
Track Name: Perennial
Your trembling hands; let go, release.
This darkness is still lingering.

Grow. Bloom.

The winter stirs, and carries me.
I hibernate. I'm slumbering.

Grow. Bloom.

Inside my heart there is a spring of life, in dormancy.
It's been a long time since I've felt alive;
In flesh and bone I walk apart from my own soul.
I feel awake at night, so dark (I'm terrified)
The cold envelops me and I must try to rouse.
The warmth of spring; new life.
